ZIP codes are scored using a composite model that includes median household income, median home value, and owner-occupied housing rates to reflect long-term residential stability and housing strength. The following datasets were used:
- Median Household Income — ACS Table B19013
- Median Home Value (Owner-Occupied Units) — ACS Table B25077
- Owner-Occupied Housing Rate — ACS Table B25003
Each ZIP code was ranked separately for all three metrics. Rankings were then averaged to create a composite score. ZIP codes with the lowest average rank achieved the highest overall placement.
Only ZIP codes with complete data across all three categories were included in the final ranking.
All data reflects the 2024 ACS 5-Year estimates.
